VERY FIRST JIU-JITSU WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP

The Very First CBJJ/IBJJF World Championship was a special event. It was held as the flagship of all of CBJJ events, and to this day it is considered the pinnacle of Jiu-Jitsu sporting events in the Gi.

Looking back at the highlight reel of the very first MUNDIAL/WORLDS, you might see some things that are done differently than today style-wise. You'll also see that there is lots of innovations that came after this event that you won't see anyone doing in this video. You won't see 50/50, Berimbolo, Leg Drags, etc... It was a different era. Not better, not worse. Just different.
